Fioriware Blue Pitcher: Wondering if it is circa 1988 . . .

I would love to know more about the date of my blue pitcher made by Fioriware . . .

 Maybe  you can help me determine the potential date for this piece . . . I was assuming the piece was circa 80's . . . but maybe not, it could be newer. I wonder how I can tell?
